A device containing foam to be dispensed onto biohazards such as blood, vomit, dog faeces or other animal excrement. The foam is coloured to ensure it is highly visible when dispensed to provide an indicator and visual warning of the hazard so that it can be avoided. The foam also has antimicrobial properties to reduce contamination risk by the biohazard, and anti-odorous properties to neutralise smells. The foam is temporary, and will degrade into a liquid with the same sanitizing properties in a time of between 1 and 30 minutes after being dispensed.
