GRP Door having enhanced fire protecting performance
Glass-fibre reinforced plastic (GRP) door having a frame that has a vertically long rectangular shape; plate-shaped Glassfiber Reinforced Plastic skins 200 attached to the front and rear sides of the frame; phenolic foam 300 disposed in internal space defined by the frame and skins; and vertically elongated reinforcing members 400 in the internal space, made of cellulose fibre reinforced cement (CRC), and increasing bending strength of the frame and the interior material. The frame may have include first and second horizontal frames 110, 120 and first and second vertical frames 130, 140 and the reinforcing members may be on the inner sides of the vertical frames. The reinforcing members may be arranged in parallel or may be at angles between 70° and 80° to a first horizontal frame. The horizontal frames may have a plurality of grooves (111, 121, Fig. 3) to receive ends of the reinforcing members. There may be L-shaped reinforcing members (410, Fig. 4) at the inner corners of the frame.
