Dimple key 'blade pick'
A means to pick a dimple lock comprises a key blade 3 located within a holder 4 via an elongate bar 5. In use the blade may be selected from a series of blades (Fig 3), located in the holder 4, tightened via the bar 5 and inserted into a dimple lock. Tension may be applied to the blade by rotating the handle 5. A series of tools including a triangular or bevelled rake pick (Fig 4, 6), a hook pick 1 and dead man bar 2 may be inserted through a channel or slot in the holder and blade (Fig 3, 8) to engage with and manipulate the lock pins (not shown). Magnets (Fig 3, 7) may be placed in different locations on the various blades. Each of the blades is shaped to the locks lowest pin depth.
