The façade panel mounting system comprises an elongate horizontal section 1 and a hanger 8 slidably mounted thereon, wherein the horizontal section has a C-shaped transverse profile having a top shelf (3, Fi.g 1) and a bottom shelf (6, Fig. 1), and a rib (4, Fig. 1) extending upwardly from the top shelf in use, the hanger having an L-shaped transverse profile with first and second arms, the second arm extending horizontally across the top shelf in use and having an adjustment screw enagable with the top shelf, the first arm extending downwardly, in use, over the opening of the C-shaped profile and slidably engaging with bottom shelf, the first arm including a deflectable tongue 13 with a hole in which a fastener 15 is located securing a façade panel 5 to the hanger. The tongue may be integrally formed with the hanger having a bending edge for deflecting to a desired façade panel angle.
