A head rail or foot rail for a blind comprising: a first rail portion 60 and a second rail portion 62, the first and second rail portions being adjustably interconnectable by way of a first one of the first and second rail portions comprising a projection 68 and a second one of the first and second rail portions comprising a plurality of recesses 76 adapted, in use, to engage the projection, wherein the relative positions of the first and second rail portions, and hence a height (64, figure 3) of the head or foot rail can be adjusted by the selective engagement of the projection into a selected one of the recesses.
