The anchor 30 comprises a framework that includes a number of interconnected upright 44 and cross members 48 to make a cuboidal structure with a hollow interior. The framework is collapsible by dismantling the framework into its constituent components. The hollow portion may hold a flexible liner 34 within, the liner may be capable of holding the constituent components when the anchor is disassembled. A fence panel may be connected to the anchors using fence posts to make a fence. A support for a solar array with a number of anchors. A number of anchors that are interconnected together may be used to form a base of a watchtower. The anchors may be part of a modular storage system. The anchors may be interconnected to form a gabion wall.
