Bathing control security
A remote control system for a bathing apparatus 100 comprising a pairing station 108 associated with a bathing apparatus and portable user device 110 being used to control functions of the bathing apparatus 104 only while it is paired with the pairing station, wherein the portable user device, such as a smart phone, is paired by activation of the pairing interface 108a when the portable user device is within a pairing region. The system may provide a secure pairing region for wirelessly connecting a user device so that unauthorised users may not have easy access. If multiple authorised devices are connected at one time, instructions from devices other than the intended user device may be blocked. The pairing interface may comprise WiFi, Bluetooth or near field communication, be integral to the bathing apparatus and may comprise a pairing button and proximity, finger print or voice recognition sensors.
