Cellular structure design
A multi-storey tower using reinforced concrete (such as with steel) partition walls 2 to form a cellular structure. This allows a concrete slab 1 of the next storey to be supported across a greater span, and allows the slabs to be thinner. An arch design is also disclosed which uses a pre-tensioned steel arch carried on supporting walls. This methodology could allow more storeys to be added to existing buildings.
