Lock assemblies
A multipoint lock assembly with an elongate faceplate arrangement, a lockbox 1 mounted on the faceplate, and a first connecting rod linkage 4 extending along the faceplate from the lockbox 1 to a first remote gearbox 2includes a locking member movable by longitudinal movement of the first connecting rod linkage between a locking position and a released position. The first connecting rod linkage includes a first link 11 connected to a second link 44, the connection between the first and second links being able to be varied to adjust the combined length of the first and second links. Preferably the adjustment is via teeth 54 and there is a toothed connection block 50 which engages the teeth on the link and the other link. The first link may have a crank 47. Preferably the lock assembly comprises an adjustable second connecting rod linkage extending in the opposite direction from the gearbox 1.
