Door securing assembly
A door securing assembly comprising a primary bracket 3 which is mountable upon a support surface such a wall 4, a secondary bracket 5 which is mountable upon a door 6 and a resilient arm 7 which is pivotably coupled to one bracket and removably coupleable to the other bracket wherein the resilient arm is configured to retain the door in a secured state. Preferably the resilient arm has first and second parts telescopically arrangement with a spring therein. At the end of the restraint bar may be a third rod adjustably coupled to allow adjustment of length. One or more sleeves may be included within the telescopic bars for secure fit. The resilient means may comprise first and second springs with the second spring having different resilience.
