The invention relates to a dry construction composition, which can be easily wet-sprayed by means of a screw pump, forming an insulating, mechanically strong material (λ<0.1 W·m-1·K-1) after hardening, in a sustainable manner. This composition comprises: -A- at least one binder which in turn includes: -A1- at least one primary binder comprising lime and/or at least one source of alumina and/or at least one source of calcium sulphate, preferably at least one source of alumina; -A2- at least one water-retaining agent; -A3- preferably at least one surfactant; and -B- at least one bio-based plant filler consisting of sunflower stalks and/or corn stalks and/or rapeseed stalks having an apparent density, in kg/m3, of less than 110, preferably of 10 to 80, the B/A ratio (litres/kg) being comprised between 2 and 9; this composition being intended for being mixed with water in a water/binder -A- ratio no lower than 0.8. The invention likewise relates to the wet composition, to the preparation thereof, to the binder -A- taken in isolation, as well as to a method for application by spraying, onto a horizontal or vertical substrate, or by moulding.
