A hinge cover and vehicle
A hinge cover assembly 10 for a hinge having an elongate hinge arm, e.g. swan neck hinge, has first and second cover members 20, 22 mountable about the hinge arm so as to completely encircle the hinge arm over at least part of its length. Preferably the first cover member 20 has a u-shaped channel portion 24 with locking projections 46 engaging in apertures in the hinge arm. Locking protrusions 34 may clip to the second cover at 36. The walls of the channel may resiliently flex to allow attachment. Inner channel walls may include ribs 40B, 40D to space the hinge arm and allow running of cables and wiring harnesses. An end of the cover may include a clip for clamping an edge of a trim panel mounted to a vehicle boot lid.
