A climbing screen support 4a comprises a support member (floor guide) 5, which extends along a longitudinal axis and is fixable to an upper surface of a floor 2 of a construction 200 adjacent an edge of the floor. The climbing screen support also comprises a climbing shoe 6 attachable to the support member for engaging a climbing rail of a climbing screen 100. The climbing screen support is characterised by a flexible or articulated tie 7 attached at a first end portion thereof to the support member 5 or climbing shoe 6 and fixable at a second end portion thereof to the immediately adjacent upper floor of the construction. Also included is a climbing screen support system 1 which includes the climbing screen support 4a and also a climbing screen 100 including a climbing rail and safety screen. A method for adjusting a climbing screen support using a flexible or articulated tie is also disclosed.
