A ladder accessory comprising two rectangular parts 1, 2 forming an L-shape. In use, the accessory is placed over the ladder to provide a vertical surface resting against a wall, and a horizontal surface. The horizontal surface may form a tool tray and have side walls 6, and the accessory may have a resilient member 3 to hold it to the ladder. The accessory may have a stop-block 4 on the underside to help the accessory pivot.
