A roller carriage assembly for a sliding panel
A roller assembly having a roller 102 supported by two bearings 104, 106 on both sides of the roller. The diameter of the roller may be similar to the bearings for better durability and load capacity. The roller may be polymer. A metal sleeve (Fig 7, 215) may be inserted into the bore 112 of the roller to ensure interference fit with the axle 120. Second aspect is a roller carriage 130 for supporting the roller assembly. The carriage body may be one-piece 132, or two-piece (Fig 5A, 174, 176). The roller carriage may be used to support a sliding building panel, where the carriage may be received in a cavity within the frame of the sliding panel.
