Hinge for glass doors
A hinge comprising a mount plate 1 with an arm 2 and collar 3 supporting a spindle 5; the spindle or collar having position retaining structures such as grooves or slots of U-shape, V-shape, to be engaged by a radially biased engagement member 16 mounted to a hinge body 6. Member 16 may be a leaf spring with an abutment portion 17 or roller (119, fig.9), alternatively member 16 may be a piston with a roller. Hinge body 6 includes a clamping plate 13 to mount to a panel such as a glass pane 11. The panel 11 may include an aperture 12 in which the spindle and hinge knuckle may be located. The aperture may allow lateral adjustment of the hinge position. A sealing strip (309, fig.13) may be attached around an edge of the panel.
