Door lock device having easy installation structure
The device comprises a housing for attaching to a door element and a slot in the front portion of the housing to communicate with a chamber 11 and a groove 20 with a plurality of teeth 21 formed in the housing which extend into the groove; a follower 30 slidably-received in the groove, including at least one projection 31 for engaging with the teeth and anchoring the follower to the housing at a selected position; a fastener 33 engaged with a panel through the slot of the housing which forces the projection of the follower to engage with the teeth to secure the housing and the follower to the panel. The housing may include a strike 17 pivotally-engaged in the housing and aligned with an opening 16 in the housing. The housing may include a second slot and a lower portion with a second groove, follower, projection and fastener.
