Waste outlet fitting
A fitting 10 for use as a waste and or odour trap for plumbing installations, has a body 12 defining an inlet end 14 and an outlet end 16, and bore 15 extending therebetween and having a one-way valve 17 for unidirectional flow to the outlet end. The fitting includes an outlet connector for connecting to a waste pipe. The outlet connector 18 has an inlet 20 and an outlet 22 and is movable between first and second positions. The inlet of the outlet connector is in fluid communication with the outlet of the body in said first and second positions. Alignment of the outlet relative to the body differs between said first and second positions. The body has first and second portions movably coupled to one another, to be configurable between a first condition in which the inlet and outlet of the body are in line with one another, and a second condition in which the first and second ends are offset from one another. Later embodiments relate to a waste outlet fitting characterised by a rotatable outlet connector, the main body having an opening to rotate ble receive the inlet end of the outlet connector, a central axis of the inlet is offset from the central axis of the outlet, an inlet connected mounted to the main body and a fitting characterised by a non return valve.
