An edge restraint
The module 20 comprises a longitudinal surface suitable for restraining road surface aggregate wherein the module forms a part of an edge restraint. The module further comprises a detachably engaging mechanism to detachably engage with a corresponding adjacent module. The detachable engagement mechanism may be positioned at the top, base or at an end 21 of the module. The detachment engaging mechanism may comprise a protrusion 23, 24 or recess 22 which is configured to detachably engage with a corresponding recess or protrusion associated with the adjacent module. The detachably engaging mechanism may comprise a ridge and groove mechanism. The module may comprise at least at the top of the module a detachable engaging mechanism comprising at least one recess 28. The module may further comprise at least at the base of the module a detachably engaging mechanism which comprises at least one protrusion. Also disclosed is a header module for a modular edge restraint and a modular edge restraint comprising said modules and headers.
