Ground surface access assemblies
A fabricated base frame (fig. 1; 12) for a ground surface access assembly 10. The fabricated base frame comprises at least one apparatus 14, the at least one apparatus comprises a part 20 which extends outwardly from the fabricated base frame, at least a portion of the perimeter 22 of the part follows a substantially curved line. Methods of attaching the apparatus, replacing a frame and forming the apparatus are also claimed. The frame may have an upstanding wall which may have a flange extending from lower part of the wall, which may extend inwards or outwards at an angle greater than a right-angle. The apparatus may have a mating surface with corresponding features and openings on the frame. The apparatus may have protrusions, a bead surrounding the perimeter and may have a sleeve extending from the bead.
