Alkali-Activated material
A cementitious composition for forming an alkali-activated concrete material is disclosed, the cementitious composition comprising a binder and an alkaline activator; wherein the binder comprises ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) and clay filter cake (CFC). A method for forming an alkali-activated concrete material and the use of such an alkali-activated concrete material are also described. The alkaline activator may be sodium silicate, sodium hydroxide or a combination of them.
