An elastomeric isolator comprising a layer of an elastomeric material which is provided with a reinforcing material layer comprising graphene. The elastomeric layer may be natural or synthetic rubber. The graphene may be applied to a face of the elastomeric material and may comprise at least one graphene nanosheet. The isolator may comprise the elastomeric material located between a pair of steel places.
