Winch assembly for a support structure
The modular guiding profile for attachment to a support structure, such as a ladder or scaffold, that has a winch. The profile includes a number of modular rails 30a, 30b which is connectable to an adjacent rail using a connecting portion 34. A releasable fastening mechanism attaches the guiding profile to the support structure. The fastening mechanism 36 may be an annular releasable clip. Also claimed is a modular shuttle system configured to convey a load comprising a drivable winch assembly with a gearbox. Loadbearing elongate flexible attachment members are coupled to the gearbox and the gearbox operates within a specific range. The guiding profile is included and a sleigh attached to a free end of the flexible member.
