Work implement for construction vehicle
A work implement 102 for a construction vehicle 100 comprising a collecting member 128 defining a first edge (fig.3,130) and a second edge (fig.3,132). The work implement includes a first (fig.3,154) and second (fig.3,130) side wall coupled to the collecting member and each with an opening (fig.2, 164, 180) proximate to the first edge. Covering members (fig.3,166, 182) are coupled to each side wall in alignment with openings. Covering members may be perforated and there may be a plurality of third openings (fig.3,148) with covering members. Openings are defined in side walls such that they may improve visibility of the sides of a construction vehicle. Openings sizes and position may be varied dependent on work implement dimensions to ensure an operator can view the surrounding area at various implement positions.
