Time-locked cabinet for storing electronic devices
A cabinet, for storing an electronic device such as a mobile phone or video games console, comprises a door with a lock unlocked after predetermined time for regulating access to the contents such as during day or night time. The cabinet includes electrical connectors or electrical cable apertures 20 facilitating electrical connection/charging of device inside cabinet with the exterior. The cabinet may include multiple shelves for multiple devices, air vents 22 in the walls. Control interface 14, 16 may include buttons to increment an hour, sleep (8-11hours) or 24 hour increment. An override keypad 24 may allow opening of the container prior to expiry of the timer. Upon placing an electronic device inside the container the door can be locked and timer started allowing access only after expiry of time. Can be used for self discipline or by parents to limit access to phones/tablet/games consoles by children.
