Flexible dam for a small scale renewable tidal energy
A flexible dam comprises a resilient waterproof material which holds seawater. An automated inflatable mechanism floats the dam and positions it on the water level. It will generate electrical power with the rise and fall of the ocean tides. The trapped water will channel through a low RPM spiral electric generator. The system will sense the maximum level of the tide and inflate the fabric barrage to the sea level. A sensor on the water exit of the dam will open a sliding gate to the turbine when the desired pressure is reached.
