Building profiles
A building profile 10 with a straight, elongate main body 12 with at least one adjuster in an end portion for adjusting, in use, the alignment of the elongate main body 12 relative to a wall 80. Each adjuster has a screw threaded shaft 26 extending through the main body that engages a complementary internally screw threaded part of the end portion of the main body 12. A foot is moveably connected to the shaft 26. Rotation of the shaft using a knob 22 causes the foot to extend beyond an outer surface of the main body. An internal guide is provided for each adjuster, which has an internal profile that corresponds to an external profile of the respective foot permitting the foot to be retracted into the main body. The guide may substantially solid with an aperture or may be formed from three or more webs located around the foot and the foot may be frusto-conical. The wall engaging surface may have a grip means and the foot may be rotatably or pivotally connected to the shaft or be connected by a ball and socket. A building profile system is also disclosed comprising the building profile and a clamp 82.
