Window dressing system and assembly
A window dressing system 10, such as a secondary glazing system, to be secured on the room-facing side of a window glazing pane 22 in a recess formed by the window frame. The system is comprised of; a panel 12 secured to a spacer frame 14 which at least partially surrounds the periphery of the panel, and a conformable/deformable securing means 16, which envelopes or covers the spacer frame and forms a releasable engagement between the securing means and the window frame, with a gap G between the spacer frame and the window glazing pane. The spacing between the spacer frame and the window glazing pane may be fixed or variable and may taper from a mid-point towards the outer edge of the spacer frame. The panel may be made of glass, plastic, metal or insulating board. A window dressing assembly comprising two window dressing systems; and methods of installing the system and the assembly are also disclosed.
