The blind has a blind operating mechanism with an endless loop. The mechanism comprises an enclosure. The enclosure 20 extends from a first 93 to second end 92. The second end can move to permit operation of the endless loop 16. The blind may include a connector 34 for supporting the first end toward the blind mechanism. The first end may be fixed and the two ends may be in a telescoping relationship. The enclosure may include a transverse wall.
