Distributor apparatus
A distributor apparatus 10 for spreading particulate material such as grit and/or salt. The distributor apparatus comprises a support structure 12 having a mounting arrangement for coupling the distributor apparatus to a vehicle. The apparatus further comprises a distributor disk 16 which is rotatable relative to the support structure, a disk driving means 18 coupled to the support structure and configured to rotate the distributor disk about a rotation axis to spread particulate material deposited onto the distributor disk, and a chute arrangement 22 coupled to the support structure. The chute arrangement is configured for guiding particulate material onto the distributor disk and comprises an inclined chute portion 24 to guide particulate material onto the distributor disk at an angle relative to the rotation axis of the distributor disk. A later embodiment relates to a vehicle comprising said distributor apparatus.
