Modular Bolted Tank Silo Roof Petal System
The roof apparatus, particularly for a bolted steel tank or silo, comprises a plurality of panels 1 each comprising an adhesive layer positioned between an outer perimeter of at least one sheet 2 and an underside of at least one outer beam 3, bonding the beam to the sheet. Each outer beam comprises one or more couplings (e.g., holes 6) for attaching panels together, and optionally one or more inner beams 4. Key line(s), e.g., reciprocal protuberances and recesses, may be provided on the beam(s) and sheet(s). The sheets and inner and/or outer beams may comprise aligned bonding couplings (e.g., holes) through which fasteners may be inserted. The panels may include cross braces 5. Multiple sheets may be bonded together by adhesive and/or sealant. There may be two outer beams with reciprocal protruding and recessed elements at corresponding positions. Optionally, the panels are circular sectors and/or are couplable together to form a substantially circular roof.
