A modular sound-reducing enclosure
A panel 10 for a sound reducing enclosure comprises a frame 12 for housing an acoustic insulation material 14. First and second retainers 16, 18 are coupled to first and second sides of the frame respectively for retaining the insulation material within the frame. Couplings 22 are provided on at least two edges of the frame for coupling the panel to adjacent panels. The panel may include a plurality of fasteners on the first and second sides of the frame for attaching first 20 and second sheets of material to the frame, the sheets being offset relative to the frame. The retainers may overlap sections 21 of the frame to hold the insulation in place. The frame may comprise a plurality of sections for housing the insulation material. An air gap may be provided between the insulation material and the retainers and an air gap may also be provided between the retainers and the first and second sheets of material. A sound reducing enclosure comprises walls formed from a plurality of panels and may comprise outer and inner covers formed from a plurality of first and second offset sheets, which partially overlap adjacent panels.
