Balustrade mounting
A balustrade mounting comprises a first bracket configured for attachment to the outer side of the ledge, the first bracket defining a central channel, the central channel having a first opening at a vertically upper end of the first bracket. It comprises a second bracket having one or more fixings arranged to connect to an internal side of the balustrade. The first and second brackets are configured to be assembled by sliding the second bracket into the central channel of the first bracket. The vertical and/or horizontal angle of the second bracket relative to the first bracket is adjustable by one or more of: (i) accessing, via the first opening, an adjustment mechanism provided within the central channel of the first bracket, and operating said adjustment mechanism; and/or (ii) inserting, via the first opening, one or more spacing components or compositions in a gap between the first and second brackets. A mounting for attaching a balustrade to the outer vertical side of a ledge, a kit of parts comprising a mounting and a balustrade, a balcony comprising a ledge and a balustrade attached to the outer vertical side of the ledge via a mounting, and a method of attaching a balustrade to the outer vertical side of a ledge via a mounting are all provided.
