A retro-fittable insulation apparatus
A retro-fittable insulation apparatus or secondary glazing for a window is disclosed. It has male 30 and female 20 frame components which are removably attachable, and linearly slidingly engageable with each other, to form a frame. Some of the frame components include a channel 40, 84 in which a sheet of material can be fitted. The components may have rectangular cross-sections with a base wall and two side walls 50, 70 and there may be a rib 60, 80 positioned between the side walls. The male and female components may have a friction fit between ribs, which may then form a rectangle shape and may have a sheet of material located in a channel. A method of insulation using the apparatus is also disclosed.
