Installation system for a doorset and a method of use thereof
An installation system for installing a doorset in a wall, the wall comprising a doorset and a sub-frame 20 wherein the doorset comprises a door and a frame having a sidewall around its perimeter for extending into a wall opening and a flange for engaging over plasterboard around the door opening. The sub-frame is made up of sub-frame components of metal sheeting in cross-section having a leg part 30 and a foot part 28. The foot part has a kink in its section to provide a step defining a space into which plasterboard can be fitted. The leg part in use bridges the cavity between the wall and the plasterboard. Further disclosed is a method of installing a doorset using a sub-frame and a method of stabilising a doorset.
