Method for cleaning pile hole of cast-in-place pile of ramp wharf of inland river in mountainous area using air compressor
A method for cleaning a pile hole of a cast-in-place pile for a wharf or ramp in water. The method comprises a first step of preliminary cleaning consisting of injecting pressurised slurry into the pile hole 4 then pumping out and filtering the slurry and sediment mixture before returning the slurry to the hole. A second step comprises gas lift reverse circulation by arranging a conduit 1 inside a slurry pipe 2 that delivers air from an air compressor 3 to the bottom of the pile hole resulting in negative pressure. A pump 5 then pumps the slurry through the pipe and a sieve to separate the debris. The second step is repeated until the pile hole is determined to meet construction requirements. The method may comprise pumping air into the pile hole outside of the slurry pipe via a flow dividing mechanism 4 which preferably directs air to a rotary spray ring (43, Fig 7) arranged around the slurry pipe and configured to rotate whilst delivering air to the pile hole.
