ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE, AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE EQUIPPED WITH THE SAME
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine in which a pump and coolant paths for circulating liquid coolant are put together compactly and downsized and assemblability and maintainability are improved.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine comprises: a rotor 5 having a rotary shaft 6; a stator core 1 arranged on an outer peripheral side of the rotor; an armature winding 4 wound to the stator core; a housing 8 which holds the stator core on its outer peripheral side; and brackets 7 which are arranged on both ends in a rotary shaft direction of the housing and hold a bearing of the rotary shaft; a pump 10 which circulates liquid coolant that cools the armature winding 4, the stator core 1 and the rotor 5; coolant paths 12 in which liquid coolant circulates; and a reservoir part 11 of liquid coolant. The pump 10 is arranged on an outer peripheral side or an end part side in a rotary shaft direction with respect to the bearing 9, the pump 10 and the coolant paths 12 are integrally provided with the brackets 7 together with the bearing 9, the pump 10 is freely detachable from the brackets 7, and the coolant paths 12 are freely exposed from the brackets 7.
【課題】液体冷媒を循環するためのポンプ及び冷媒経路をコンパクトにまとめて小型化するとともに組立て及びメンテナンス性を向上した回転電機。【解決手段】回転軸6を有する回転子5と、回転子の外周側に配置される固定子鉄心1と、固定子鉄心に巻回された電機子巻線4と、固定子鉄心をその外周側で保持するハウジング8と、ハウジングの回転軸方向両端に配置されて回転軸の軸受を保持するブラケット7と、を備え、電機子巻線4、固定子鉄心1及び回転子5を冷却する液体冷媒を循環させるポンプ10と、液体冷媒が流通する冷媒経路12と、液体冷媒の溜め部11と、を有し、ポンプ10は軸受9に対してその外周側又はその回転軸方向端部側に配置し、ポンプ10と冷媒経路12は、軸受9とともに、ブラケット7と一体的に設けて、ポンプ10はブラケット7から着脱自在であり冷媒経路12はブラケット7から露出自在であること。【選択図】図1
