STEEL BELLOWS TYPE DAMPER
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel bellows type damper capable of improving low cycle fatigue durability.SOLUTION: A steel bellows type damper 1 is provided for restraining relative displacement caused between two structures 10 and 10 by connecting the two structures 10 and 10, and comprises a curved plate part 4 and a pair of plate parts 5 and 5 extending so as to become mutually substantially parallel from both ends of the curved plate part 4, and is composed of: a main body 2 elastically/plastically deformed so that the plate parts 5 and 5 mutually approach or separate by external force acting on the structures 10; and a cross-sectional L-shaped bracket 3 having a splice part 6 spliced to an outer surface of each of the respective plate parts 5 and an installation part 7 provided at a substantially right angle to the splice part 6 and installed in the structures 10.
