PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover fitting structure capable of easily and adequately connecting a connector regardless of thickness of a door and properly fitting a cover on a wall surface of the door.SOLUTION: A cover fitting structure includes: an indoor side connector 42 electrically connected to an opposite side connector 16 provided in an electric lock 3 in the door 2 from an indoor side wall surface 2c side; a connector base 37 configured to support the indoor side connector 42; a base cover 36 provided to cover the connector base 37; and an engaging member 38 provided in the base cover 36 so that the base cover 36 is supported by the connector base 37. The engaging member 38 is displaceably provided between a locking position P1 where the engaging member 38 is locked on the connector base 37 and is regulated in the movement in the separation/contact direction from/with the indoor side wall surface 2c and a non-locking position P2 where the locking on the connector base 37 is released and the engaging member 38 becomes movable in the separation/contact direction.
