PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator type parking device which reduces the number of traverse driving devices transversely moving housing trays equipped in each parking room so as to be able to reduce the cost of equipment and facilitate maintenance.SOLUTION: An elevator type parking device includes: a hoistway 11 having a space vertically penetrating; parking rooms 14 provided in multiple stages along the hoistway 11; housing trays 15 arranged in such a way as to be freely traversed in the parking rooms 14 and forming the loading part of a vehicle 16 in a comb-like shape; a cage 12 forming the loading part of the vehicle 16 in a comb-like shape so as to alternate with the ctenidium of the housing trays 15 and moving up and down in the hoistway 11; a traverse gear 22 moving up and down in the hoistway 11 at the forward and backward positions of the cage 12; and a swing device 39 arranged in such a way as to be freely traversed in the direct layer on an entering/exiting floor. The traverse gear 22 includes: a traverse rail 23 supporting the housing trays 15 in a way to be freely traversed; and a traverse driving device 24 traversing the housing trays 15 and the swing device 39 between the parking rooms 14 and the traverse rails 23.
【課題】各駐車室に備える格納トレイを横行させる横行駆動装置の数を減少させ、これによって設備費を低減するとともにメンテナンスが容易となるエレベータ式駐車装置を提供すること。【解決手段】上下方向に貫通する空間を有する昇降路１１と、昇降路１１に沿って上下多段に設けられた駐車室１４と、駐車室１４に横行自在に配置され、車両１６の搭載部を櫛歯状に形成された格納トレイ１５と、車両１６の搭載部を格納トレイ１５の櫛歯と交互になるように櫛歯状に形成し、昇降路１１を昇降するケージ１２と、ケージ１２の前方及び後方の位置で昇降路１１を昇降する横行装置２２と、入出庫階の直下の階層に横行自在に配置された旋回装置３９と、を備え、横行装置２２には、格納トレイ１５を横行自在に支持する横行レール２３と、格納トレイ１５及び前記旋回装置３９を駐車室１４と横行レール２３上との間で横行させる横行駆動装置２４と、を備えた。【選択図】図１
