PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door-type platform fence that is compatible with a case in which even if the size of a necessary opening width from a door pocket is large, and even if the size varies depending on a station in a platform of a station.SOLUTION: A door-type platform fence includes: two or more doors 1A and 1B with the pre-stage door 1B openably stored in the post-stage door 1A; a door pocket 2 for openably storing the two or more doors 1A and 1B; a post-stage door opening/closing drive unit 1A1 for openably driving the post-stage door 1A built in the door pocket 2; and a pre-stage door opening/closing drive unit 1B1 built in the post-stage door 1A, and openably driving the pre-stage door 1B. The door-type platform fence is compatible with a case in which even if a total width W1AB of the two or more doors 1A and 1B in the state where all of the two or more doors 1A and 1B are closed is wider than a width W2 of the door pocket.
