JOINT STRUCTURE OF STEEL PIPE SHEET PILE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the intrusion of sediment into a joint (P-type joint) of a steel pipe sheet pile which is antecedently driven, and to easily insert a joint (T-type joint) of the steel pipe sheet pile which is succeedingly driven into the joint (P-type joint) of the steel pipe sheet pile which is antecedently driven.SOLUTION: A waterproof member 30 is attached to a T-type joint 20, the T-type joint 20 is inserted into a P-type joint 40, and adjacent steel pipe sheet piles 10 are connected to each other. The T-type joint 20 has a protrusion 21 which is arranged while extending from a lower end of the T-type joint, and the P-type joint 40 has a slit-shaped opening part 41 which is continued to a longitudinal direction. The opening part 41 is blocked by a block member 42. The block member 42 has a fragile part 43 in the longitudinal direction of the opening part 41. When driving the succeeding steel pipe sheet pile 10 by making it adjoin the antecedent steel pipe sheet pile 10, the T-type joint 20 is inserted into the P-type joint 40 while cutting the fragile part 43 of the block member 42 arranged at the P-type joint 40 by the protrusion 21.
【課題】 先行して打設する鋼管矢板の継手(P型継手)の内部に土砂が侵入することを防止し、さらに、先行して打設する鋼管矢板の継手(P型継手)の内部に、後行して打設する鋼管矢板の継手(T型継手)を容易に挿入可能とする。【解決手段】 T型継手20に防水部材30を取り付け、P型継手40の内部にT型継手20を挿入して、隣合う鋼管矢板10同士を接続する。T型継手20は、その下端部から延長して設けた突出部21を有し、P型継手40は、長さ方向に連続したスリット状の開口部41を有する。当該開口部41は、閉塞部材42により閉塞する。閉塞部材42は、開口部41の長さ方向に沿って脆弱部43を有する。先行鋼管矢板10に隣接させて後行鋼管矢板10を打設する際に、P型継手40に設けた閉塞部材42の脆弱部43を突出部21で切り裂きながら、P型継手40の内部にT型継手20を挿入する。【選択図】図4
