PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rain gutter, the clogging of which can be easily recognized and which can restrain rainwater from falling from an unspecific location, and an outdoor structure.SOLUTION: A rain gutter 30 includes a horizontal gutter 31, and a cap member 34 that has a drainage part 35 for discharging rainwater, exceeding an upper limit height, to the outside of the horizontal gutter 31, when the rainwater within the horizontal gutter 31 exceeds the upper limit height set lower than an upper end of the horizontal gutter 31. The drainage part 35 has a first water passage part 38 that guides the rainwater within the horizontal gutter 31 to the outside of the horizontal gutter 31, and a second water passage part 39 that drops the rainwater, guided by the first water passage part 38, from a position below the horizontal gutter 31.
