HEAT EXCHANGER
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger composed of a honeycomb structure, capable of providing the honeycomb structure with a new function and processing new fluid flow.SOLUTION: A heat exchanger is composed of a honeycomb structure 1000 made of a ceramic, having at least first end face 11, a second end face 12, a first side wall 21 and a second side wall 22, and having a plurality of flow channels 60 partitioned by inner walls and extended from the first end face 11 to the second end face 12, and exchanges heat between a first space 41 and a second space 42 disposed inside of the honeycomb structure 1000. The heat exchanger has a connection hole 30 composed of a first opening 31 and a second opening 32, the flow channel 60 having the first or second opening 31, 32 has sealing portions 70 respectively on the first end face 11 and the second end face 12, the flow channels 60 having the first or second opening 31, 32 are connected by the connection hole 30 to define the first space 41, and the first space 31 and the second space 32 are separated from each other by the inner wall 50.
