PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dirt removing device capable of suppressing deterioration of efficiency of a power generator, and capable of applying force required to push back dirt deposited on a screen to the upstream side.SOLUTION: A dirt removing device 1 includes a water tank 2 arranged in a sand sedimentation basin between a screen 3 provided in a water inlet and a water channel, and discharge means E provided in the water tank 2 so as to discharge storage water W stored in the inside of the water tank 2 to the outside of the water tank 2.
