PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder rod cover which is more insusceptible to damage than ever, which does not hinder a telescopic motion of a hydraulic cylinder even when broken and which can be easily removed and replaced, and a work machine with the cylinder rod cover.SOLUTION: A cylinder rod cover comprises a cover body that has an attachment part for being joined to an end of a cylinder rod with respect to an outer surface of a cylinder of the cylinder rod and the overall length of which is greater than the maximum exposure length of the cylinder rod. Preferably, the cover body is made of a material smaller in specific gravity than iron.
【課題】従来よりも、壊れ難く、壊れたとしても油圧シリンダの伸縮を邪魔せず、且つ、撤去及び交換が容易なシリンダロッドのカバー、及び、該シリンダロッドのカバーを備える作業機械を提供する。【解決手段】シリンダロッドのカバーは、シリンダロッドの円柱外面に対してシリンダロッドの端部に接合する取り付け部を有し、シリンダロッドの最大露出長よりも全長が長いカバー本体を備える。カバー本体は、鉄よりも比重が小さい素材からなることが好ましい。【選択図】図２
