PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defecation assisting/monitoring device fitted to an assist guardrail at a lateral side of a Western-style toilet seat for assisting push in defecation, preventing a toilet user from falling forward of a toilet seat, and monitoring a physical status of the toilet user.SOLUTION: The defecation assisting device is fitted to an assist guardrail 3 installed at a lateral face of a toilet seat 1, so that an assist arm A-4 can be fixed at an arbitrary position in front of a user. The user can retain a defecation posture by holding the arm, and the arm assists the user to put muscle into the lower abdomen and also serves to prevent the user from falling forward of the toilet seat. A sensor for the pressure measurement or the like is fitted to the assist arm so as to monitor the physical status of the toilet user.
【課題】洋式トイレ便座横の介助手すりに取り付けて、排便時の力み補助と共に便座前方への落下防止を行い、あわせてトイレ使用者の身体状況を監視すること。【解決手段】本発明に係る排便介助装置においては、トイレ便座１の側面に設置されている介助手すり３に取り付けて、使用者の前方任意の位置に介助アームＡ−４を固定でき、該アームにつかまることにより排便姿勢を保つと共に下腹部に力を入れる助けにし、かつ便座前方への落下防止の役目を果たし、上記介助アームに血圧計測等のセンサを取り付けることによりトイレ使用者の身体状況を監視する。【選択図】 図６
