JOINT STRUCTURE OF BUCKLING RESTRAINING BRACE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of a buckling restraining brace, which can achieve restrictions on the length and weight of a member during transportation, bring about proper detailing and cost reduction, and facilitate the securement of the plasticization length of the whole brace, even when a buckling restraining brace is used for seismic rehabilitation and the like.SOLUTION: Two buckling restraining brace split bodies 1A, in which a flat plate-like core material 2 is pinched by a restraining material 3, are joined in series to be turned into one buckling restraining brace. An end of the core material 2 on the mutual joint side of both the buckling restraining brace split bodies 1A serves as a flat plate-like core material joint-side protrusion 2c that is protruded with respect to the restraining material 3. The core material joint-side protrusion 2c comprises a restraining width part 2ca equal in width to a part, pinched by the restraining material 3, of the core material 2, and a pair of extended parts 2cb extended to both sides from the restraining width part 2ca. The restraining width part 2ca and the extended part 2cb are divided from each other by a slit 2cc except for a part. Both the core material joint-side protrusions 2c are pinched between two splice plates 11, and joined by a bolt 12 via the extended part 2cb.
【課題】 耐震改修等に座屈拘束ブレースを用いる時も、運搬時の部材長さや重量の制約を達成でき、かつ納まり良くコストも低減でき、さらにブレース全体の塑性化長さを確保し易い座屈拘束ブレースの接合構造を提供する。【解決手段】 平板状の芯材2を拘束材3で挟み付けた2本の座屈拘束ブレース分割体1Aを直列に接合して1本の座屈拘束ブレースとする。両座屈拘束ブレース分割体1Aの互いの接合側の芯材2の端部を、拘束材3よりも突出させた平板状の芯材接合側突出部2cとする。芯材接合側突出部2cは、芯材2の拘束材3で挟まれた部分と同じ幅の拘束幅部2caと、拘束幅部2caから両側へ広げた一対の広がり部2cbとでなり、拘束幅部2caと広がり部2cbとは一部を除いてスリット2ccで互いに分断されている。両芯材接合側突出部2cは2枚の添え板11で挟み込んで前記広がり部2cbでボルト12により接合する。【選択図】 図1
