PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow stopper and a roof structure provided with the snow stopper, hardly turning over a roof material even if weight of snow is applied.SOLUTION: The present invention comprises a plurality of roof materials 2, a snow stopper 1 and a fixing member 3, and the roof materials 2 include a first roof material 21 and a second roof material 22, and the first roof material 21 comprises a waterproof dike 23 projecting upward from a ridge side end part, and the second roof material 22 comprises an apron 24 projecting downward from an eaves side end part, and the eaves side end part of the second roof material 22 is superposed on the ridge side end part of the first roof material 21, and a clearance 26 exists between the waterproof dike 23 and the apron 24, and the snow stopper 1 comprises an installation part 10 and a snow stop part 11, and the installation part 10 comprises an upper piece 12 and a locking piece 13, and the upper piece 12 is arranged on a surface of the eaves side end part of the second roof material 22, and the locking piece 13 is arranged in the clearance 26 between the waterproof dike 23 and the apron 24, and the fixing member 3 penetrates through the upper piece 12 and the second roof material 22, and the fixing member 3 is joined to the locking piece 13.
