CONCRETE COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF PRODUCING CONCRETE COMPOSITION
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete composition which is reduced in dry shrinkage strain and has high compression strength and its production method.SOLUTION: A concrete composition comprises fine aggregate containing hard sandstone, coarse aggregate, a cement and water and has a wt. average grain size D50 of the hard sandstone contained in the fine aggregate of the concrete composition of greater than 0.85 mm. A method of producing a concrete composition is based on kneading fine aggregate containing hard sandstone, coarse aggregate, a cement and water together and includes adjustment of the grain sizes of the hard sandstone so that the wt. average grain size D50 of the sandstone contained in the whole of the fine aggregate becomes greater than 0.85 mm.
